Building in the mountains
Studying and researching in the Alpine region
Building for demanding living environments
In the bachelor's programmes in Architecture and Civil Engineering, students learn to plan and implement complex construction projects holistically. The Alpine region provides a particularly demanding learning environment, with challenging topography, sensitive landscapes and stringent requirements for construction, safety and sustainability.
Practice-oriented projects, digital planning methods and interdisciplinary work prepare students for diverse roles in architecture and engineering. At the same time, the Institute of Construction in Alpine Regions conducts research into settlement development, Alpine infrastructure and natural hazards. This creates expertise and solutions that are in demand far beyond Graubünden.
